One of the hardiest Yuccas that flowers within a few years from seed. Yucca filementosa is clump forming up to 1.5m tall with panicles of white tulip shaped flowers from a basal rosette of deep green leaves edged with white threads. Best situated in a sunny protected position however fully hardy in the UK.

Germination instructions

Pre-soak seeds in water for 24 hours. Sow on a gritty sterile seed compost and cover with a thin layer of vermiculite or grit. Keep at around 15C to 20C. Germination 2 weeks to 2 months.
