Best kept in a cool airy greenhouse and patience will be needed for them to produce a trunk. An interesting novelty plant.

Germination instructions

Sow seed with a very light covering in a sterile free draining seed compost. Scarifying the hard seed with sandpaper may help. Keep at around 20C. Germination from 2 to 12 months. Seedlings develop a tap root and will need space to develop.
