From South Africa, an attractive bulbous plant with glossy foliage and tubular pink flowers.  Prefers gritty well drained soil.  Flowers in winter and spring and is tender so best kept under cover in a bright spot during the colder months.  Dormant during the summer months.

Sow on a well-drained, gritty compost and cover lightly with vermiculite.  Keep moist but not wet at 16C to 20C  Germination 4+ weeks.
