One of the the most elegant of the Trachycarpus, this form of martianus is unsurprisingly from the Khasia Hills region in India. Provide winter protection when small. Best grown in a sheltered spot.

Germination instructions

Soak for 24 hours and then sow on a loamy well drained sterile seed compost and cover with vermiculite. Keep moist but not wet at 20C to 22C. Germination in 1 to 3 months typically but can be 12+ months.
