This is a rare form of the Bird of Paradise from South Africa called Strelitzia reginae - Mandelas Gold. The flowers are of a lovely yellow gold and purple, rather than the normal orange and blue, with large flower heads. The plants are also slightly dwarfer than reginae to 90cm making it more manageable for container growing.
