Solanum pyracanthum

A member of the tomato family from Madagascar.  Vicious large orange spines down the centre of the leaves which are quite unique - handle with care! Has lavender blue flowers. Grows well outside in the UK once all frosts have passed.  Only hardy in the mildest areas so best to overwinter frost free or grow again from seed as an annual the following year.  Please note that this plant is poisonous.
