From Ethiopia and Eritrea, this is another of the spikey Solanums with really attractive large leaves with white margins and veins, so a good choice for a jungle style garden.  Prefers a sunny well drained spot and will not take any significant frost, so will need to be brought undercover during the winter months and kept drier until in active growth again.  Otherwise treat as an annual and grow from seed each year.
