Rodgersia pinnata - a clump-forming, rhizomatous perennial that is excellent for a bog garden, water side or damp conditions in shade. In mid-summer, plumes of fragrant, pink-red flowers carried on red stems to 60cm above large exotic looking green/bronze foliage that turns a deeper colour in the Autumn.

Germination instructions

Surface sow on a seed compost/sandy mix and very lightly cover witrh vermiculite. Keep moist but not wet at around 20C. Germination in around a month. Lower the temperature after germination.
