Originating from the Himalayas, like Rheum nobile, another very special ornamental rhubarb. Prefers a cool, moist, sunny spot and should be hardy in most parts of the UK. Easier to grow than nobile (thankfully).

Germination instructions

Sow seeds on a sterile seed compost and cover with vermiculite. Keep at a temperature of around 20C. Germination slow in 3 to 4 weeks.
