Available in packets of 20 seeds and 50 seeds

A hardier form of the date palm found in Crete and Southern Turkey, similar to the ordinary date but smaller and with a silvery sheen to the leaves. Very easy from seed but probably not that hardy until becoming an adult palm then maybe to -7°C.

Germination instructions

Sow on a sterile seed compost and cover with vermiculite/grit. Keep moist but not wet at 18C to 22C. Germinates fairly quickly for a palm - 6+ weeks.
