An excellent foliage plant for a sunny spot in a jungle style garden or as part of a container display. Foliage starts as a caramel shade and then darkens to a deep copper on plants up to around 90cms tall. Deep rose coloured panicles form at the end of summer.

Germination instructions

Sow seeds on a good quality sterile seed compost and cover with vermiculite/grit. Keep moist but not wet at around 25C. Germination in about 1 week. Seedlings are green - grow on in heat before planting out after all risk of frost has passed and soil has started to warm up.
