From Brazil, this passion flower has evergreen glossy leaves and clusters of bright red flowers during the summer months. It is not hardy so is best grown under cover.

Germination instructions

Soak the seeds for 24hrs in orange juice. Then rinse and sow in a sterile seed compost lightly covering with vermiculite. Keep moist but not wet in bright light at around 20C. Germination is erratic from 3 weeks to 3+ months. Admit air after germination to lower risk of damping off.
