An old variety of nasturtium with dark blue-green foliage and scarlet red flowers which contrast so well with each other.  We use nasturtiums as understory plants in our jungle garden, and find that they self seed around nicely.  Does well from early summer through to the first frosts.  Both the flowers and leaves can be eaten and have a peppery spicy taste - a great addition to a summer salad.
