This Royal Purple form has upright purple bracts and orange-yellow flowers followed by small purple seedy fruits. A tender banana best grown in a pot where typically it will reach 2 metres, so a good choice for a small fruiting banana. Not hardy - needs a minimum of 12C in the winter months.
