The species form of itinerans from the Yunnan region in China.  Smaller than Mekong Giant, but still an impressive size!   This banana is quite cold tolerant and can even take light frosts when a good size, so could be an option for the milder microclimates in the UK.  Otherwise grow outdoors during the summer months and then keep frost free
