Our favourite hardy banana - we purchased ours from the previous owners of JungleSeeds and much prefer it to Basjoo.   It is sometimes incorrectly described as a form of sikkimensis - it is actually a separate species with smaller seeds than sikkimensis.  We find it to be just as hardy as sikkimensis at the root level and has proved to be excellent with huge leaves often with a purple hue to the reverse and a silvery bloom to the pseudostems. Produces plenty of pups once established.
