From South East Asia, a really elegant palm developing a tall columnar trunk and huge circular leaves that can reach 2m in width,  Will require to be kept frost free and ideally  above 10C so will need a warm greenhouse or conservatory during the cooler months.  Seeds are relatively easy to germinate.
