A fabulous red Morning Glory that always draws attention from visitors. Scarlet O'Hara's blooms are a full 10 centimetres across, deeply coloured crimson and with a velvety texture. This vine is particularly vigorous and fast-growing with masses of blooms great for covering ugly fencing or up a trellis. Drought-tolerant and easy from seed, it climbs to around 2 metres.

Germination instructions

Soak the seeds for 24 hours and then sow in a sterile seed compost covering with vermiculite/grit. Keep at 25C to 30C. Germination in around 1 to 2 weeks. Give plenty of bright light once germinated to prevent damping off.
