Purple Coral Pea

Hardenbergia violacea is a very attractive tropical vine from West Australia that can tolerate frost to -5˚C when established but best as a conservatory climber where it loves hot dry conditions. Flowers held in racemes mainly in winter and spring.
Germination instructions
Pour hand hot water over the seeds and soak for 24 hours. Sow the seeds on a good, well drained, gritty seed compost and cover with vermiculite/grit. Keep at 25C to 30C. Germination in 1 to 3 months.
