Gloriosa superba lutea is a beautiful Glory Lily with stunning bright yellow flowers. Easily grown from seed, it will attain 1.5-1.8 metres in a large container in a sunny position given rich soil. Forms tubers when larger which are best stored dry and then started into growth again the following spring.

Germination instructions

Sow in a good quality sterile seed compost and cover with vermiculite. Keep at around 25C. Germination in around 30 to 60 days. These plants form tubers. Both the roots & stems are extremely brittle so transplant with care avoiding disturbance wherever possible. CAUTION SEED & PLANT POISONOUS
