Unsurprisingly a very large seed form of the Abyssinian banana, with seeds up to 4 times larger than the "standard" ventricosum. Grow as per other Ensetes, so plenty of feed and water during the summer months when growth can be spectacular and then keep frost free and dry during the winter.

Germination instructions

Soak seeds for 48 hours before sowing. Sow in a sterile seed compos and cover with vermiculite. Keep damp but not wet in bright light at 25C to 30C. Germination 8 to 12 weeks.
