Dracaena draco

Dracaena draco is a tree native to the Canary Islands, slow growing, and can reach a great age.  The name comes from the red sap like dragons blood.  Only hardy to around -5°C but worth trying in a sheltered location. Make sure that containers have good drainage with a gritty compost. Water infrequently, allowing the compost to dry out slightly between watering.
