Decaisnea insignins

From India, the Blue Sausage shrub has large pinnate leaves which work well in a jungle/exotic style garden.  It is best known though for it's metallic blue sausage like seed pods.  It loses it's leaves during the winter months and is pretty hardy when it reaches a mature size, taking temperatures to -10C at least.
