From high up in Central Mexcico, one of the hardiest of the Chamaedora, taking temperatures down to around -8C when a good size - protect from frosts when smaller. Clump forming with attractive pinnate leaves, it is a relatively small palm growing to around 2m when mature. Enjoys plenty of water in the summer - keep on the dry side during the colder months.
