Cecropia telenitida

From the South American rainforests, a fast growing Cecropia with spectacular large palmate leaves and hollow stems.  In its native habitat, the hollow stems are colonised by symbiotic ants.  A bit of a novelty to try in the UK - prefers humid conditions and plenty of heat.  Not in the slightest bit hardy - will need at least 15C to overwinter undercover.
