Another hardy ginger suitable for under planting in a jungle style garden. Cautleya spicata is winter dormant, emerging with 60cm stems in the spring bearing clusters of maroon bracts and yellow flowers.

Germination instructions

Sow on a well drained sterile seed compost and lightly cover with vermiculite/grit. Keep at around 25C to 20C. Germination in 4+ weeks.
