Carica papaya Formosa

One of the largest of papayas originally from Brazil.  Fruits can be up to 2.5kg in weight and have a sweet melon like flavour.  Needs plenty of indoor space and heat in the UK during the colder months with good light.  A quicker grower that can reach 3m in the UK in the right conditions.  Note: These plants will need to be kept between 15C and 30C to grow properly and the flowers will not set or will fall off outside of this temperature range.
