Cajanus cajan Thai Wild

From Thailand, this form of the pigeon pea has pale brown seeds. Pigeon peas are believed to be one of the first plants to be cultivated and are rather tasty. Young seeds can cooked like fresh peas whilst older seeds can be dried and added to stews and soups. Will tolerate quite cool conditions but unlikely to survive frosts so best overwintered indoors.
