From New Zealand, an interesting foliage plant to try in the UK - this is the pure species form. It has large wavy edged leaves, with soft white felty undersides. Historically used as toilet paper, hence the name! Should be ok in the milder microclimates in the UK, but won't take a number of harsh frosts.
