Giant Taro

An even larger form of Alocasia macrorrhiza that can grow to over 2.5m in the right conditions in the UK. Similar to other Giant Taros, it enjoys plenty of heat and humidity during the summer months and a regular feed. It can be planted out in a sheltered border in a warm spot for the summer after all frosts have passed or grown in a pot. Overwinter indoors in a frost-free location - only water sparingly until in active growth again in Spring.
